DO NOT GET FOOLED !

Howlite is very often described as a variety of magnesite, including in well-known works on lithotherapy.

However, howlite and magnesite do not share the same chemical composition at all, are not found in the same deposits, do not belong to the same group, and howlite is not described as a variety of magnesite in mineralogy. They are therefore two different stones.

Easy to tint in a chemical bath, you will find it sold under the name of Blue Howlite, Turquoise Howlite, Turquenite (or its variant Turkenite), Turquentine and many other names. These stones do not exist in nature and are pure commercial inventions.

Howlite is also often dyed blue and then sold as turquoise, because its cost is lower and turquoise can be very expensive, it is also found dyed purple to imitate Sugilite or even green.

Lithotherapy is an alternative energy therapy, the indications given do not in any way constitute medical advice, they are taken from cultures and reference works in the field. For any medical problem we invite you to consult your doctor. Never stop treatment without medical advice.
